Here's an exclusive first look inside Nell's Pizza, a New York-inspired pizza restaurant and bar which opens in Altrincham tomorrow.
Nell's, which is famous for its 22-inch pizzas, is the latest name to move into Altrincham's brand-new Foundation building.
It will be opening in the 3,251 sq ft unit on Friday 15th November for a soft launch, and will then officially open the following Friday, 22nd November.
Founder Jonny Heyes told us: "We're so excited to be here. Altrincham has an amazing reputation for food and drink and this is a great site and a nice opportunity.
"We know we're not necessarily in the centre of gravity here but that's been our modus operandi at Nell's from the street - a bit back street and off the beaten track.
"With Lane7 and Yum Cha also opening in Foundation here we're hope we're helping to create a new neighbourhood."
Nell's will open from 12 until late seven days a week, with a DJ every Friday and Saturday.
Inspired by the thin, crisp crusts and high-quality toppings of New York’s iconic pizza culture, Nell's launched in lockdown as a low-waste, sustainable food offering for the owner's other bars, which include Edge Street's Common, Port Street Beer House and The Beagle in Chorlton.
The pizzas, available as 14in, giant 22in pies or individual slices, caught the imagination of the city and a dedicated Nell’s opened shortly after at Kampus, close to Piccadilly train station.
Describing Nell's, Heyes added: "It's New York pizza with a side of vibes - we're comfortable, engaging, informal and vibrant."
