Stand-up comedian Russell Kane and rock and roll band Showaddywaddy are among the big names coming to the Altrincham Garrick this month.
English comedian Kane is bringing his Right Man, Wrong Age tour to the Barrington Road venue on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th June. Friday is already sold out.
It’ll be the former I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now! host and Live at the Apollo star’s first appearance in Altrincham.
Also coming up later this month are The Houghton Weavers, who will be bringing their much-loved brand of folk music, humour and audience participation to the Garrick on Saturday 10th June.
On Sunday 18th June, Michael King returns with his fantastic ‘On Tour with Elvis’ show – traditionally one of the most requested shows in the Garrick’s calendar – while on Saturday 24th June Showaddywaddy – who sold a million copies of number one hit Under the Moon of Love in the 70s – return for a third year in a row.
And this Sunday, June 4th, award-winning classical crossover duo, ‘Il Destino’, bring their superb show ‘Broadway and Beyond’ to the Garrick in support of the charity ‘Fitzroy’.
Joining Il Destino on stage will be members of Cheshire’s own Opera Britain Youth Chorus under the direction of Jayne Wilson along with the amazing Altrincham ‘Rock Choir’.
