theProfileClub, the exclusive Hale-based private members business club, recently welcomed Colin Parry OBE to its breakfast meeting.
Colin founded the Tim Parry and Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace after the IRA bomb attack on Warrington in 1993 which claimed the lives of two young boys, including his son Tim.
Explaining the purpose of his foundation, Parry said: “Our aim is to help young people to find a non-violent resolution to their differences and in doing so to break the cycle of violence.”
The charity will be holding its 23rd Annual Peace Lecture later this month with guest speaker Jeremy Bowen, BBC Middle East Correspondent.
theProfileClub was founded by Barbara Hallwood, managing director of Marketing Profile, a PR and Events company based in Hale.
