Altrincham-based travel company Little Clogs Holidays has won a top business award from former Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis.
The firm, which launched two years ago as an online travel company for child-friendly holidays to the Netherlands and Belgium, was chosen as a Small Business Sunday (SBS) winner.
Set up by two mums of half Dutch and half Belgian children respectively, it features a collection of holidays in coastal and woodland locations, full of facilities, activities and days out suitable for young children.
Co-founder Laura Riley said: “I am so proud of what we have created. It is amazing to be recognised by Theo for our hard work and to be able to benefit from the massive exposure he has given us.”
The weekly initiative, set up by retail entrepreneur Paphitis in 2010, now has over 2,500 winners across the UK.
