E-cigarette shop Altrincham Ecigs has surrendered the lease of its unit on Regent Road.
The 600 sq ft space has been let to a new company called Geek Café Ltd for 10 years at an annual rental of £12,500.
Mohammed Raja, one of the two directors of Geek Café Ltd, would not give any more details about the business but said it would be the first of it type in the UK.
He said: “We look forward to being part of a thriving community in Altrincham. Our offering will be the first in the UK and we hope to launch in the next six months.”
Altrincham Ecigs has held the unit for several years but surrendered it after negotiating with Regional Property Solutions.
Daniel Lee, MD of Regional Property Solutions, said: “The area around Regent Road is being redeveloped and this letting reflects a rent increase of 15% since 2017, despite the uncertainty of the last two years.”
