Altrincham jewellers Randalls has been been named the Judge's Choice winner of this year's Winter Windows competition.
Organised by Altrincham BID, who produce VisitAltrincham.com, this year’s competition has almost 40 Altrincham shops and businesses showcasing their creativity through festive window displays.
Jaymeni Patel, a talented architect, interior designer and educator based in Altrincham, was tasked with the difficult job of judging this year’s entries.
Touring the town yesterday, Jaymeni selected the overall winner as Randalls, with Hill & Hill The Jewellers as runner-up.
Jaymeni said: “I loved Randalls' window, it was fun and festive with lots of humour.
"Every character was curated with a strong sense of attention to detail and the whole display was created by the team themselves. It feels like a Christmas grotto and has a strong family and community focus.
"I would also like to give a special mention to Full Circle Funerals Partners, Bar Etna, Fixx Salon, The Massage Company, Ferrious and Hill & Co.”

Jaymeni added: "I really enjoyed judging the Winter Windows and was amazed at the standard and originality this year.
"All the windows were incredible, and it is a pleasure to be based in such a creative town and part of such a wonderful community event. Many of the windows have incredible detail and are very imaginative. I encourage everyone to come into Altrincham and see them for themselves."

"Our diverse range of restaurants, coffee shops, and bars makes it the perfect festive destination and the effort put in by the businesses in the Winter Windows competition adds to the Christmassy atmosphere."
Christmas will be officially kicking off in Altrincham on Saturday with the Christmas Lights Switch-On, followed by the Lantern Parade on Saturday 7th December, Altrincham’s Nativity Journey on Saturday 14th December and Carols from King’s Court on Wednesday 18th December.
