UK's leading doggy day care provider targets Altrincham owners with first Northern centre

It's set across 5.5 acres of purpose-built grounds.

The UK's leading doggy day care provider is targeting dog owners in Altrincham with the opening of its first Northern location in Lymm.

Set across 5.5 acres of purpose-built grounds, Bruce's Doggy Day Care features sensory fields for off-lead play, agility courses, indoor relaxation areas, and a full programme of engaging activities designed to keep dogs active and socialised throughout the day.

Founded by Bruce Casalis, a former Chair of the Pet Industry Federation with over 17 years of dog care expertise, Bruce's goes beyond basic pet sitting with a focus on enrichment and consistent socialisation.

The centre operates under a "Happy Dog Policy" that matches dogs into playgroups based on temperament, size, energy levels and play style.

All activities are supervised by professionally trained care staff who receive ongoing development training through the Institute of Modern Dog Training.

For nervous dogs, Bruce's offers specialised support to help build confidence, while puppy owners can access expert guidance through Bruce's Puppy Pre-school programme.

Unique features include "Sniffing Safari" and "Hide and Treat" fields that encourage natural behaviours, plus "Zen Gardens" planted with lavender and dog-friendly aromatic plants to promote relaxation.

Owners can stay connected through a bespoke app providing real-time notifications, weekly photos, and care management tools.
