Law firm McHale & Co has taken additional 4,500 sq ft of Altrincham office space as it steps up its expansion plans.

The firm's 25-strong real estate team has relocated to Warrant House, just yards from the firm’s headquarters on High Street.

McHale & Co has taken the entire third floor of Warrant House, a former police station converted into 10,000sq ft of commercial space.

The firm already has a training suite in the building, and it now occupies a further 4,500sq ft featuring open-plan work areas, meeting rooms, a kitchen and breakout zone.

The move provides scope to grow the real estate team, with additional hires planned.

It also creates space for further recruitment at McHale & Co’s head office, with a focus on all departments.

Award-winning McHale & Co, founded in 2001 by chief executive Andrew McHale, provides services for individuals and businesses on a regional, national and international basis.

Its specialisms for individuals include wills, lasting powers of attorney, probate and estate planning, family, litigation, employment, personal injury and medical negligence.

The firm also acts for sportsmen and women and teams on matters such as contract negotiations, transfers and commercial opportunities.

The firm’s range of services to businesses includes advising on commercial litigation, corporate, employment, intellectual property, debt recovery and insolvency matters as well as real estate.

McHale & Co's real estate team will be based in the new office

It is part of the wider McHale Group, which has 112 staff and includes BJ McKenna Solicitors in Heaton Moor and Heaton Chapel, Parkers Solicitors in Stockport town centre and Waldron & Schofield Solicitors in Heywood.

Kamil Tomaszewski, partner and head of McHale & Co’s real estate team and the group’s chief operating officer, said: “The relocation supports our continued success in the property sector, providing the space and facilities to accommodate our current team of 25 and room for an additional 10 hires over the next two to three years.

“It ensures our team remains in the heart of Altrincham, close to our main office.

“The move marks a key step in the firm’s long-term expansion strategy. We’ve reached an exciting stage of growth across the business, and the real estate team is a major part of that.

“This new space reflects both where we are and where we are going – a modern, high-quality environment that matches the calibre of work that our team delivers for our clients.”

Property agent Christopher Dee, based in Altrincham, structured the deal which has seen McHale & Co take a 15-year lease for the additional office space at Warrant House.
