New chapter for Altrincham funeral directors

It's led by husband-and-wife team Sara and Jeremy Fixter.

Circle Funerals' Sara and Jeremy Fixter

An Altrincham funeral directors is beginning a new chapter this month with the launch of Circle Funerals.

From today, Full Circle Funerals Partners Altrincham will become Circle Funerals, continuing the same family-run, independent service that has been led by husband-and-wife team Sara and Jeremy Fixter since 2022.

The service was previously part of a small independent franchise network, but the relaunch under the Circle Funerals name marks a move to operate fully independently.

Despite the name change, the day-to-day operation remains unchanged. Sara and Jeremy will continue to run the service from their premises on Ashley Road, supporting bereaved families across the wider Altrincham area.

The business has built a strong reputation for community involvement beyond funeral services. Sara is a Cruse Bereavement Volunteer and regularly runs educational events and wellbeing sessions in the local area.

The team also supports the community through their Forever Manchester Fund, which is expanding to benefit projects across South Manchester.

The business was named Business of the Year at the Altrincham & Sale Chamber of Commerce Awards 2024, won the Bereavement Support Award at the Good Funeral Awards 2023, and was shortlisted for Funeral Director of the Year 2024.

Speaking about the change, Sara and Jeremy said: "Changing our name to Circle Funerals is about continuity and clarity. It's still the two of us here, in the same place, providing the same calm, personal support that families know us for.

"Circle Funerals gives us a simple way to carry forward what people already recognise in us: care that is thoughtful, responsive and firmly rooted in the community."
