Staff from Marks and Spencer’s Altrincham store have succeeded in raising £100,000 for The Christie.
The total has been achieved over the last decade and all money has gone to support patients at the Manchester-based cancer centre, the largest in Europe.
Staff were joined by the team from The Christie, M&S CEO Steve Rowe and Retail Director Sacha Berendji to celebrate the 10-year milestone.
Steph Bryant, Corporate Fundraising Coordinator at The Christie Charitable Fund, said: “We are so privileged to have partnered with M&S Altrincham over the past 10 years.
“The team have really thrown themselves into fundraising and their efforts have made a truly fantastic impact on The Christie.
“Raising £100,000 is an incredible achievement and donations like this will help us to fund life-changing and potentially life-saving projects that will benefit cancer patients both now, and in the years to come. Thank you and congratulations on a remarkable team achievement.”
The store has pledged to continue to support The Christie’s fundraising efforts.
