Pokémon: Detective Pikachu
Tim Goodman (Justice Smith) is the son of a prominent detective and a former Pokémon trainer. After his father disappears, Tim ends up in Ryme City, where people and Pokémon live in harmony. However, his life is turned upside down when the fluffy and wise-cracking Detective Pikachu (Ryan Reynolds) breaks into his home.
While Pokémon usually can’t communicate with humans, Detective Pikachu discovers that Tim is uniquely able to hear what he’s saying. It also turns out that the electric Pokémon is Tim’s father’s old partner – and so Tim and Detective Pikachu come to join forces to solve the mystery of his parent’s disappearance.
Detective Pikachu is a fun family mystery starring Justice Smith (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom), Kathryn Newton (Ben Is Back, Blockers and Three Billbooards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) and the voice of Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool 2). It features popular Pokémon characters and is sure to bring plenty of laughs.
