That rate represents a total of 66 cases in Bowdon, up 73.7% on the week before.

Only three places in the whole of Greater Manchester have worse current rates than Bowdon – Firswood (867.4), Hazel Grove West (866.5) and Heald Green East (831.7).

Elsewhere in the Altrincham area, rates also appear to be on a steep rise in Hale, parts of Timperley and Broadheath, although in other parts of Timperley the number of cases per 100,000 is down week-on-week for the seven days to January 5th.
