Christmas comes to Altrincham Market tonight with the first of two Twilight Markets.
The special events will feature festive food, mulled wine, carol singers, live music and late night shopping, and will last from 6 to 9pm.
And there’ll be over 60 stalls selling hand-crafted, gifts, cards, jewellery and all things Christmassy.
There’s a second Twilight Market next Friday, December 16th, at the same time.
There will also be a special twilight menu at Nationale 7 in New Market Square, while the Reserve Wine van will be serving Vin Chaud and Vin ‘Froid’.
Other highlights will include Fin in the covered market, which will be serving small batch fish and chips, fresh battered hake from Taylors, and brussel sprout, roast chestnut and pancetta pizzas at Honest Crust.
There will also be a special pre-Christmas week of markets in the run-up to the big day, with markets on Tuesday December 20th to Thursday December 22nd (10am to 4pm) and a shortened market on Friday December 23rd (10am to 1pm).
