Remembrance Sunday services honouring fallen war heroes will take place across the Altrincham area this Sunday with a free concert happening in Hale Barns.
The remembrance concert will hope to “bring the community together” at Holy Angels Church on Wicker Lane at 7.30pm.
The concert has been organised by Hale Barns events, the team behind the Hale Barns Carnival, and will feature the 40-piece Lymm Concert band performing works like Nimrod, The Dam Busters and Danny Boy.
Max Eden, of Hale Barns Events, said: “We are tremendously excited to stage this remembrance concert with the Lymm Concert Band.
“The concert has been made free entry to encourage the community to come together to remember our fallen heroes.”
The Mayor of Trafford Tom Ross added: “We all owe a great debt to those heroes who gave their lives so that we can live in freedom.”
