Pizza Express has reopened its Hale restaurant for the first time since March.
The pizzeria, which has been on Ashley Road since 1999, has been given a revamp which sees an open kitchen take centre stage at the heart of the restaurant.
It also incorporates the latest coronavirus safety measures, including a more physically distanced layout, hand sanitiser stations, enhanced hygiene procedures and cleaning measures. The restaurant now has space for up to 60 diners.
There’s also a new digital menu and cashless payment.
Dan Johnson, PizzaExpress Hale Operations Manager said: “We’re really excited to be welcoming households back into our pizzeria. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our teams and customers and so far, the response to our new safety procedures in place has been fantastic.
“Our customers can enjoy a wonderful experience in our new setting whilst enjoying delicious pizza and all of our menu favourites. We’re also offering a free drink with every main until 30 September, so look forward to welcoming more customers back through our doors.”
