First look: Yum Cha, Foundation, Altrincham

It's opened in the Stamford Quarter today.

Here's a first look inside dim sum kitchen Yum Cha, which opens in the Foundation building in Altrincham’s Stamford Quarter today.

The 2,166 sq ft unit is styled in the brand’s statement neon pink and blue colours and will include seating for 65 guests.

It's Yum Cha's fourth site after successful restaurants in Manchester, Liverpool and Warrington.

Yum Cha opens today

The independent Chinese eatery has built a strong reputation for its hand-crafted Dim Sum, roasted meats, classic big plates and noodle soups.

Yum Cha operates a walk-in only policy and will be open seven days a week, from 12-9pm on Sunday to Thursday, and 12-10pm on Friday and Saturday.

Owner Adam Wan said: “The Stamford Quarter is the perfect location for our latest site and we can’t wait to open our doors and bring our dishes to new guests here in Altrincham.

"We hope to create many more fans of our handcrafted, authentic Chinese dishes and are excited to welcome the local community and visitors from further afield to our new restaurant.”
