The Foot Company has opened its 10th podiatry clinic in Altrincham town centre.
The clinic has opened in the former Flanagans barbers unit on Railway Street, across the road from Wetherspoons.
Founded by qualified podiatrist Andrew Mayo in 2010, The Foot Company has built a network of clinics across the North West and we will open an 11th clinic in Manchester city centre next month.
It offers a full range of podiatry treatments including nail surgery, the latest verrucae and fungal nail treatments and nail reconstruction.
The clinic also carries out biomechanical assessments by using the latest in-shoe analysis technology used to help diagnose abnormalities in people's gait which can lead to pain in legs, hips or feet.
The new Altrincham clinic features two treatment rooms with all procedures done on site.
Founder Andrew Mayo said: “We’re delighted to have opened our latest clinic in Altrincham.
“I got my haircut in this unit so I know it well. I used to drive past it when taking my little boy to school so when it became available I went for it. The thing that really helps is the visibility - whichever way you're coming from you can't miss it here.”
Mayo, who said the overall aim of The Foot Company is to “bring podiatry to the high street”, said demand for foot services had increased as the NHS had stopped treating the majority of foot problems.
He added: “We have a proven track record of offering the best patient care. We have several clinics around the North West and Yorkshire treating over 3,000 patients a month and have lots of positive outcomes for our patients which we pride ourselves on.

A new patient assessment including a full vascular and neurological assessment, and treatment costs £50.
