Joining them will be Altrincham Market’s Jo Wilson, selling a range of organic vegetables, and A Class Fitness with samples of different organic coffees.
There will be live entertainment throughout the day on George Street, with a fitness display from Pure Gym, Zumba with Helen’s Zumba, dance from ABCD Dance and music from local bands.
Over the road, the Lifestyle Zone will have advice and information on physical, mental and even financial wellbeing, with participants including ‘Healthy High Streets’ champions Marks & Spencer, Boots and Santander plus Trafford College, Space for Creation and The Cooperative Food.
Further down George Street, Art with a Heart will be running a ‘Healthy Art’ day of arts and crafts activities for all the family along the theme of healthy living.
Lead organiser Zainul Sachak said: “I am excited by the enthusiasm shown by local businesses to get involved in our first Healthy Living Festival, by both participating and donating some amazing raffle prizes. As well as putting on a memorable event in Altrincham, we hope to raise lots of money for the Counselling and Family Centre who are based in Altrincham near Stamford Park.
“Our small dedicated team of volunteers have put in a lot of hard work over the past few weeks in planning the event, and we’re hoping for a great turnout on Saturday.”
