Stephen Glynn, 53, died after crashing his black Peugeot 107 through a hedge and into the garden of a property close to a roundabout between Turnbull Road and Stamford Brook Road.

Police were called to the scene in West Timperley at 1.25pm yesterday afternoon.

It’s not yet been confirmed what caused the crash.

In a statement, the family described Stephen as a “kind, loving and generous spirit”.

“He has left a huge void that can never be filled,” they said.

“He will be dearly missed by all his family, friends and anyone else whose heart he touched.”
