Strictly’s back – and here’s how you can learn to dance for FREE in Altrincham

Strictly Come Dancing returns this weekend – and if you’ve always wanted to learn how to dance, The Cinnamon Club has the answer.

Strictly Come Dancing returns this weekend – and if you’ve always wanted to learn how to dance, The Cinnamon Club has the answer.

On Sunday September 11th, the Bowdon venue is putting on two completely FREE workshops to get you started.

Aimed at complete beginners who are over 18, teachers Clare and Taz will run through three basic Modern Jive moves over the course of a two-hour workshop.

There’s a morning workshop at 10.30am and an afternoon session at 1pm.

A similar pair of workshops back in July proved to be hugely popular.

Owner Neil Hughes said: “We are really appealing to people who have had the urge, may have danced as children, but never quite taken the next step.”

Dancing has been taking place at The Cinnamon Club for over 20 years, and every Tuesday and Thursday over 100 people get together for a social dance.

To register for one of Sunday’s workshops, email neil@thecinnamonclub.net or call 0161 926 8992.
