Two men, one armed with a knife, held up a Subway in Timperley last night before escaping with an unknown quantity of cash.
Police were called to the Manchester Road sandwich shop shortly after 9pm to reports of an activated alarm.
They found that two offenders, one of whom was armed with a knife, had threatened a staff member and customers.
