Six trouble-making youths have been banned from Altrincham, Timperley and Navigation Road Metrolink stations after a crackdown by Greater Manchester Police.
The youths, aged between 13 and 15, have been served with Anti-Social Behaviour Injunctions for causing continuous problems across the network in Trafford.
They are also banned from Sale and Brooklands station unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The unusual move follows an increase in incidents of anti-social behaviour across the borough.
The injunctions also ban the youths from carrying any knife, blade or sharp instrument within Trafford.
And the youths are also prohibited from meeting up with each other in any public location in the borough, with the exception of school, court, health or police station appointment, or when attending activities organised by Trafford Youth Services.
If the youths break the injunctions – which were brought in to replace Anti Social Behaviour Orders (ASBO) – they could be arrested.
Back in February, police took action against 17 teenagers following complaints of a gang terrorising neighbourhoods in Altrincham, Hale, Sale and Timperley.
