Pixie Childrenswear is set to open its second store in Altrincham on Saturday.
The award-winning childrenswear and toy shop, which has had a store in Hale since 2010, is to open its doors on George Street.
The 2,000 sq ft, New York-inspired store will sell kids’ clothing and accessories for babies and children up to 14-years, an extensive range of educational toys, games and gifts, women’s clothes, accessories, and nursery furniture.
Brands will include Someday Soon, Molo, Scotch & Soda, Angel’s Face, Lego and Top Model.
Gillian Franks, owner of Pixie, said: “From a fledging start we have successfully established ourselves in this niche market and we believe the time is right to open another store. The revitalisation of Altrincham along with its increasing popularity made it the ideal choice.”
In November, Pixie won the Best Kids’ Store category at the prestigious CWB Independent Retail Awards.
Laura Turner, CWB editor and judge, said that Pixie “pays great attention to its customers’ needs and tastes, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of its target customer”.
Franks added: “We are confident the shop will bring the best that Pixie has to offer to the residents of Altrincham and we’re very excited to become part of the Altrincham retail community.”
Pixie will be celebrating the opening of its new shop with a day of in-store activities including competitions, refreshments and goody bags for the first 30 customers, while stocks last.
