The highly anticipated Treehouse family play centre will open on Altrincham high street tomorrow.

The Treehouse family play centre, restaurant, bar and sports area will open in Altrincham town centre tomorrow.

Opening on George Street next to Oxfam, the 7,500 sq ft centre will have a treehouse-themed indoor playground for kids to enjoy and a licensed bar and restaurant where the parents can relax on the ground floor.

On the second floor, there’s another cafe, a children’s play area, a sports area, disco space, and multipurpose classrooms for weekend film evenings and a range of exercise and yoga classes.

Co-owner and mother Samah Abadi said: “I want it to be somewhere where everybody is happy. Not embarrassed that their kid is screaming because there’ll be other kids probably doing the same thing. Being a parent is such a hard job and you deserve somewhere you can go and get taken care of and have a break or a drink.”

Husband Adam added: “When we had our first kid, we were wondering why there wasn’t a place with play areas for children, where you can eat proper food and get a drink. It’s a hub for the community basically.”

Treehouse will be open 9am-6.30pm, Sunday to Thursday, and 9am-9.30pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
