A plan for six residential houses on a brownfield site off Manchester Road in Timperley has been approved by Trafford Council.
Developer Landmark Living and architect Calderpeel have won consent for the scheme, which comprises five three-storey, three-bedroom townhouses, and a detached two-bedroom home.
The site, on Hartington Road, is currently home to a number of vacant small business units and a detached house that was subdivided into two flats.

Trafford’s planning committee said the scheme would “positively enhance” what was a partly derelict area.
Building work is set to begin in the spring, with construction set to take around 12 months.

The new homes will range in price from £295,000 to £395,000.
Landmark is currently involved with a number of other schemes in the Altrincham area, including the transformation of a historic former bowling in the town centre.
It’s also behind the Wellington Gardens and The Acres developments in Timperley.
