Snow is set to return to Altrincham tomorrow and Wednesday.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning of snow and ice for Greater Manchester – and Altrincham is definitely in the firing line.

The warning covers the period between noon tomorrow and 11am on Wednesday.
According to the Met Office, between 3-5cm of snow is likely in areas above 200m, while up to 10cm is possible in a few places.
A covering of 1-2cm is more likely at lower levels.
It’s going to be cold too, with daytime temperatures between one and two degrees and the mercury dropping to -4 overnight.
