Resurfacing work to improve the condition of the A56 Manchester Road will begin on Monday.
The work will see the closure of the road in both directions between Gladstone Road and Navigation Road.
It will be closed between 7am and 7pm from Monday April 27th to Friday May 1st.
Signposted diversions will be in place along Stockport Road and Park Road. On the southbound carriageway, access to George Richards Way and Altrincham Retail Park will be maintained.
