A 67-year-old man has died after a collision involving three vehicles in Altrincham yesterday.
Officers are appealing for more information after the incident, which happened close to Hale Country Club at around 6pm.
It’s understood the collision took place on Clay Lane close to the junction with Wellfield Lane. The road was subsequently closed for several hours between Thorley Lane and Bowdon Rugby Club.
Emergency services pronounced the driver of one of the vehicles dead at the scene.
The driver of a second vehicle was taken to hospital as a precaution.
There have been no arrests and enquiries are ongoing.
