An Altrincham business that started life as a one-room assisted stretching practice is preparing to open a full longevity and recovery studio in the Stamford Quarter this autumn.
The Stretch Station will take Unit 4 at Foundation on Stamford New Road, converting 2,500 sq ft into a five-part wellbeing space combining premium assisted stretching, strength classes, personal training, compression therapy and red light therapy.
It is a significant step up for founder Jamie Davies, who built his reputation at Orangetheory Altrincham before setting up The Stretch Station as a single-room practice.
The new site brings the whole offer together in one place, built around the idea that people should be able to stretch, strengthen and recover in a single visit.
The studio will house four private rooms for one-to-one assisted stretching, alongside a personal training studio, a recovery lounge and a red light therapy suite offering red, blue and green light treatments. Its Strength In Range classes will focus on mobility, stability and controlled resistance work.

"We're incredibly excited to be bringing The Stretch Station to Stamford Quarter," Davies said.
"Our vision has always been about much more than stretching - it's about creating a complete longevity ecosystem where people can improve the way they move, build strength that lasts and prioritise recovery in one welcoming space."
He said the studio had been designed for a broad range of people, from those wanting to ease muscle tension or improve sporting performance to anyone simply hoping to stay active as they get older.
David Charlton, head of asset management at Bruntwood, which owns the Stamford Quarter, described the studio as a strong fit for the centre.
"As more people look to prioritise their health and wellbeing, it's great to welcome an innovative, independent business that offers something genuinely different to the people of Altrincham," he said.
Cllr Liz Patel, Trafford Council's executive member for economy and regeneration, said: "I am delighted that The Stretch Station is coming to the Stamford Quarter. It will bring a different dynamic to what is already a fantastic offer."
Ahead of opening, the business is releasing a limited number of Founder Memberships, with pricing published on its website.
