Everything you need to know about Live From Wythenshawe Park 2026

Five massive gigs are coming.

Five big outdoor shows land at Wythenshawe Park over the next two weekends, with The Cure, Lewis Capaldi, Pulp, Courteeners and The Prodigy headlining.

Plenty of local residents will be heading there on the tram or by car, with around 36,000 attending each day last year.

This year, The Cure and Pulp are sold out. Extra tickets have been released for Lewis Capaldi, and Courteeners are on final tickets.

How do I get there from Altrincham?

The nearest Metrolink stop is Moor Road, on the airport line. From there it is a 15–20 minute walk down Bideford Drive and through the park to the West Gate.

Trams will be busier than usual between 2pm and 8pm on the way in, and between 10pm and midnight on the way back. There is an enhanced service around the park on show days. Wythenshawe Road and Baguley stops close from 9pm.

If you are being dropped off or picked up by car, taxi or Uber, organisers want people to use Tesco on Altrincham Road, M23 9TJ. It will be signed as the official pick-up and drop-off point.

An £8 event travel pass, bought in advance on the Bee Network app, covers any combination of Bee Network bus, tram or shuttle bus on show days.

Shuttle buses

Shuttles run to the park from Manchester city centre and East Didsbury.

From the city centre, buses leave Aytoun Street/Minshull Street, near Piccadilly, every six minutes. The journey is about 35 minutes, with drop-off on Palatine Road opposite Parkway House, then a five-minute walk to the gates.

From East Didsbury, buses leave Parrs Wood, in front of the tenpin bowling alley (stop F), every 15 minutes. The journey is about 15 minutes, with drop-off on Palatine Road near Northenden Health Centre.

Outbound times:

  • 4pm–7.30pm on 21 and 28 August
  • 3.30pm–7.30pm on 22 August
  • 2.30pm–7.30pm on 29 and 30 August

After the shows, buses leave from 10pm on a load-and-go basis from outside Parkway House, via the North Gate. All return buses stop at Parrs Wood before continuing to the city centre.

One-way shuttle tickets can be bought at the pick-up point on the day for £4, or £2 for concessions.

Can I drive?

On-site parking is available through JustPark, but spaces are limited and need booking in advance. There are also Park & Stride sites nearby. Do not park on residential streets around the park.

Shuttle buses also run from Manchester city centre and Parrs Wood, dropping people on Palatine Road, with return buses from 10pm.
