Firefighters from three stations were called to a blaze at a pub in Altrincham last night.
Fire engines from Sale, Altrincham and Wythenshawe attended the incident at The Railway on Manchester Road, close to the Altrincham Retail Park.
They were at the scene for around two hours after being called out at 6.34pm and used breathing apparatus, two hose reels, lighting equipment and a thermal imaging camera to bring the fire under control.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 6.34pm on Monday, 7 December, firefighters were called to reports of a fire at a commercial building on Manchester Road, in Altrincham.
“Three fire engines from Sale, Altrincham and Wythenshawe quickly attended the scene.
“Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels, lighting equipment and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. Fire crews were at the scene for approximately two hours.”
