A 27-year-old man will appear in court today in connection with a robbery in Bowdon earlier this week.
William Robinson, of no fixed abode, has been charged with two robberies and possession of an offensive weapon.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates court today.
We reported how officers were called to reports of a robbery on East Downs Road at approximately 5.30pm on Monday.
The victims were attacked by a balaclava-clad gang, with possessions including a high-value watch stolen.
A 63-year-old victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
