A 22-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of an Altrincham teenager who died after being struck by a car in Broadheath.
Marcus Simmons-Allen, 18, was hit by a car travelling on George Richards Way shortly after 9pm on Sunday October 10th.
Connor Matthews, of Portland Road in Stretford, has now been charged with causing death by dangerous driving; driving otherwise in accordance with a licence; and driving without insurance.
He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court today.
