Two people received treatment after a fire at a house in Timperley yesterday.
Firefighters from the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) were called to a property on Mainwood Road at around 1pm.
Crews from Sale and Wythenshawe stations attended the blaze and rescued two people from the house.
They were treated at the scene by North West Ambulance Service.
A spokesperson for GMFRS said: “Just before 1pm, firefighters were called to reports of a fire at the back of a residential property on Mainwood Road in Timperley.
“Three fire engines from Wythenshawe and Sale stations attended.
“Crews used breathing apparatus and hose reels, and rescued two people who were assessed by North West Ambulance Service at the scene.
“Firefighters were in attendance for approximately two and a half hours.”
