A 31-year-old Broadheath man has been fined for fly-tipping.

Trafford Council prosecuted Liam McKai-Crellin-Myers, of Lee Avenue, after Environmental Improvement Officers caught him dumping rubbish on Moss Lane, near Partington, on February 17th 2021.

McKai-Crellin-Myers pleaded guilty to fly tipping at Manchester Magistrates Court and was fined £1,300 with £200 costs and a £130 victim surcharge.

Cllr Stephen Adshead, Trafford Council’s Executive Member for Environmental Services, said: “We will not tolerate fly tipping in Trafford and will continue to come down hard on those who dump rubbish in our borough. If you are caught fly tipping in Trafford, we will take you to court.”
