The family of Arron Lewis, the 33-year-old motorcyclist who tragically died following a collision in Timperley last week, have paid tribute to a man they describe as bringing "light and laughter wherever he went".
Mr Lewis, who worked as a driving instructor in the Sale area, was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of members of the public who administered CPR before emergency services arrived.
The collision occurred on the A56 near the junction with Lindsell Road at around 2:25pm.
In a heartfelt tribute, his family said: "We are heartbroken at the tragic loss of our son, Arron, who passed away at the age of 33.
"Arron was a caring, decent, and kind young man who brought light and laughter wherever he went. He had an infectious personality and made friends easily - whether through his work or his interests.
"He leaves behind his incredibly proud parents and older brother, his loving girlfriend, and her two young children who absolutely adored him. He was also a proud uncle to two teenage nephews, who looked up to him."
The family described how Mr Lewis found purpose both in his professional life and his passion for motorcycling.
"Arron worked as a driving instructor in the Sale area of Manchester, where he helped many people gain their license," they said.

"Outside of work, Arron found freedom on two wheels. Riding his motorbike was his escape from what he affectionately called his 'office' - his car. It gave him space to breathe, think, and enjoy life beyond work. He was a proud member of a charity-driven motorcycle club called The Weekend Riders and was always looking for ways to support good causes."
They added: "Arron also previously trained and competed in Ultra White-Collar Boxing (UWCB), raising money for charity while challenging himself both physically and mentally. He had recently committed to getting in shape and was just beginning to build the next chapter of his life," his family added.
The collision involved Mr Lewis's motorbike and what witnesses described as a grey SUV. The driver of the car remained at the scene following the incident. Police, paramedics and firefighters all attended, with Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service remaining for one hour and 40 minutes. An air ambulance also landed in a nearby field.
The A56 was closed for several hours before reopening shortly before 11pm on Wednesday 10th September.
Mr Lewis's family added: "Our family is devastated by his loss. We ask for privacy while we grieve, and speculation to be avoided around the circumstances of his passing.
"We are incredibly proud of the man Arron was and the life he lived. He will be missed more than words can say."
Greater Manchester Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and is appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
