As summer settles in, there’s no better time to explore the Stamford Quarter.
With new openings, inviting hangouts and the continued transformation of the town’s favourite high street destination, this lively corner of Altrincham is the place to be.
From laid-back lunches and after-work drinks to sunny afternoons in Stamford Square and a spot of retail therapy, it’s brimming with energy, fresh new faces and exciting things on the horizon.
With new openings, inviting hangouts and the continued transformation of Altrincham’s favourite high street destination, Stamford Quarter is the place to be this season.

Big-name brands land on George Street
Two exciting new arrivals are bringing a fresh wave of style and self-care to Stamford Quarter. British fashion favourite Crew Clothing has officially opened its doors on George Street, offering its signature blend of smart, coastal-inspired style for men and women.
Right next door, it’s now been confirmed that Rituals will soon be joining the line-up. Known for its luxurious home and body care collections, the store will offer a tranquil space to explore skincare, wellness gifts and signature scents inspired by ancient traditions from around the world. Rituals will be opening later this month.
These new openings mark a significant moment for Stamford Quarter as it continues to attract high-quality, experience-led retail that blends national names with much-loved independents.

Continued transformation
The evolution of Stamford Quarter is picking up pace, with the next phase set to transform a key corner of the destination. The prominent unit at the junction of George Street and Stamford Square is being reimagined as three unique spaces, ready to welcome a vibrant mix of retail, food, drink, and experience-led brands.
This redevelopment will not only bring greater variety to the heart of Altrincham but also add new energy to Stamford Square, creating even more reasons for people to visit and enjoy the area.
Work is scheduled to begin this summer, with completion expected in around three months.
Shop, Eat, Drink and Play

It’s got your everyday needs covered, from Boots and Jake Shoes to H&M, River Island and Waterstones. But there’s also plenty of room to treat yourself, explore cult skincare brands at LOOKFANTASTIC, pick up a thoughtful gift from local favourites like Utility, Parasol or Gift & Home, or take a break with an ice-cold frappe or your go-to coffee fix from Costa.
When it comes to food and drink, Nell’s Pizza is the heart of the action.
Think giant New York style pizza slices, epic ice cream sandwiches and classic cocktails, best enjoyed on the sun-drenched. Looking for something a little different? Head to Yum Cha for roasted meats, handmade dim sum and bold Asian flavours served in a laid-back setting.
And when you’re ready to take things up a notch, head to Lane7, a graffiti-covered bowling and gaming venue perfect for date nights, group hangouts or spontaneous fun.
