The Hale Barns Carnival will return this weekend with two days of live music and family entertainment at a new location.
This year's event will take place in the grounds of The Bull's Head and Holy Angels Church on Wicker Lane.
The carnival kicks off on Saturday and Sunday at 12 noon with free daytime activities running until 4pm, featuring more than 30 local stalls, traditional funfair rides, children's inflatables and community activities.
A car display will showcase classic vehicles, supercars and movie automobiles, while food lovers can explore the new Foodie Village, with offerings including wood-fired pizza from Wildfire Pizza Company, gourmet burgers by Humble Kitchen, and authentic Thai and Jamaican cuisine.
The main stage entertainment begins each day at noon, with Saturday featuring indie covers band Parlaiz, followed by Hilda's Flying Ducks, Soulvation and rising soprano Millie Royle.

Sunday's lineup includes Rock Choir, Parlaiz, singer-songwriter Imogen Paige and The Music Place Choir.
The evening concerts promise world-class tribute acts, with Saturday night featuring tributes to Chic, Tina Turner and Roxy Music.
Sunday's lineup celebrates the Bee Gees, Dolly Parton and Madness, with all evening shows running from 6pm to 10pm.
“We’ve got a fantastic range of attractions at this year’s Hale Barns, and after all the team’s hard work preparing for this year’s event, I can’t wait for the gates to open on Saturday," said organiser Max Eden.
New for 2025, the carnival will be dog-friendly, welcoming well-behaved dogs on leads. Parking is available at St Ambrose Prep School on Wicker Lane.

Since its launch nine years ago, Hale Barns Carnival has welcomed top talent including 10CC's Graham Gouldman, Rose Royce and Russell Watson, while raising funds for community causes. The event helped make the long-awaited community hall a reality in 2023.
Evening concert tickets start at £28 for adults and £11.20 for children, with weekend passes and premium table seating available. Tickets can be purchased at www.halebarnscarnival.co.uk.
The event is supported by Benchmark Security, Howden Insurance, BeFibre, Manchester Airport and Full Circle Funeral Partners.
