Around 3,500 runners are expected to take part in the fifth Altrincham 10k, which returns to the town this Sunday, September 7th.
The race, which is open to runners of all abilities, starts and finishes in the town centre.
Organiser RunThrough has just confirmed Nike and SportsShoes.com as lead sponsors.
Nike will use the partnership to showcase its latest road running footwear, such as the Vomero Plus, Pegasus and Structure models.

SportsShoes.com will also be present on race day alongside Nike ambassadors, including GB triathlete Katie Halligan, ultra-runner and radio presenter Hattie Pearson and Manchester-based artist Emma Evans.
Matt Wood, Co-Founder of RunThrough, said “Welcoming Nike as title sponsor of the Altrincham 10K, alongside our long-standing partner SportsShoes.com, is a huge milestone for the event.
“This partnership highlights the growth of our community and the strength of our brand. We can’t wait to support the thousands of runners taking part in the Nike Altrincham 10K Presented by SportsShoes.com.”
Runners will receive an official chip timed result, free race photos, a brand new themed medal and plenty of post race snacks and refreshments.
