Heavy snow fell in Altrincham last night, the first dusting of 2025.
Two Met Office amber snow warnings remain in place throughout the region, with people warned to expect major travel disruption.
Manchester Airport also shut its runways at 6am this morning, reopening them just after 9.30am but a number of flights have been hit by major delays.
