Altrincham Library is to reopen from Monday April 12th, Trafford Council has confirmed.

The Market Street site will be open to the public between 10am and 5pm on weekdays and 10am and 4pm on Saturdays, but will be closed on Sundays.

Visitors will be allowed to browse books and use the library computers.

From Monday, the public will be able to browse books for the first time since March 2020

Trafford Local Studies Library will also be reopening on the same date.

Monday will mark the greatest relaxation of restrictions for all of Trafford’s libraries since July 2020, when sites partially reopened for book returns and started to accept book reservations through their new ‘Order and Collect’ scheme.

The service, which remained throughout the third national lockdown, will continue to stay in place.
