Police are investigating after an armed robbery outside Cibo restaurant in Hale last evening.
Officers were called to Lisson Grove just before 9pm following reports of a robbery.
It’s thought that two males came out of the restaurant and were robbed by two men armed with weapons, unofficially described as machetes.
The offenders fled with jewellery from the victims and escaped in a dark coloured Audi in the direction of Hale Road.
No arrests have yet been made.
