Update: Two men have now been arrested on suspicion of murder
A man in his 30s has been stabbed to death in Altrincham town centre.
A murder investigation is underway after the incident in Goose Green, which took place shortly before 3.30am this morning.
The whole of Goose Green is currently cordoned off while forensic investigations continue.
Witnesses have reported that two males were stabbed during the incident.
Paramedics gave CPR to a man at the scene but he died later in hospital.
A 17-year-old boy was also taken to hospital with what police described as “serious” injuries.
No arrests have yet been made and police are expected to provide more details soon.
