This autumn marks OYEZ Arts' first anniversary, and the team is celebrating with an exciting line-up of events and activities designed to lift spirits and spark creativity.
Whether you're looking to relax, learn something new or connect with others, there's something for everyone in Altrincham's vibrant community arts space in the historic town hall.
Regular Activities
From yoga and sound baths to the ever-popular monthly film club and weekly choirs, OYEZ offers a welcoming space to unwind and get involved. Adults can choose from a wide range of creative classes including oil painting, watercolour and life drawing, while kids can step away from their screens and get creative with the fabulous Saturday morning Comic Art class, learn essential life skills at Cook Stars, or join the much-loved music production and DJ courses.
New this term, don't miss the fun Paint & Sip workshops - a perfect way to enjoy an evening of creativity with friends. And for live music lovers, First Fridays bring gig nights to the Town Hall. Follow OYEZ on social media for their latest line-up.
Special Autumn Events
CRAFTED Makers' Market
Autumn sees the launch of CRAFTED, a brand-new makers' event celebrating original, handmade work from talented artists across the region. Join OYEZ on 15th–16th November to explore beautifully crafted ceramics, jewellery, textiles and more - perfect for early festive finds.
OYEZ Arts Trail
Kicking off in early November, the OYEZ Arts Trail will showcase work from local and international artists throughout the town. With installations appearing across shops, cafés, businesses and public spaces, the trail will spotlight Altrincham's culture, heritage and architecture. Featuring exhibitors from budding young talent to internationally successful artists, the trail will showcase genres from fine art to photography, sculpture to ceramics. 90 Little Book Stop
New for autumn, in partnership with Penguin's 90th anniversary, OYEZ is proud to be selected as one of the UK's official 90 Little Book Stop locations - accessible community bookshelves stocked with free books for all ages. Pop along to the garden and pick up something that sparks your curiosity, or leave one for someone else to enjoy.
