The Minor Injuries Unit at Altrincham Hospital has reopened, with effect from today.

The unit had been suspended during the first lockdown as services were restructured to cope with the extra demand from the coronavirus pandemic.

Minor injuries services had been transferred to Trafford Urgent care centre, Manchester Royal Infirmary and Wythenshawe Hospital.

But Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust has now announced that Altrincham Minor Injuries Unit has reopened under a limited weekday service, 8am – 8pm Monday to Friday.
