Park Medical Practice will be opening the doors at its new £7m premises in Timperley village next month.
The GP practice is occupying the 4,564 sq ft ground floor at the Stockport Road facility, which also boasts an onsite pharmacy and enhanced disability access.
Park Medical Practice will close operations at its temporary base on Park Road at 1pm on Friday 5th November and open to its 6,300 patients from 8am on Monday November 8th.
Dr Christina Wilson, GP Partner at Park Medical Practice, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming patients to our new home. With double the space and state-of-the-art facilities we will be able to continue to provide first-class care for our patients in a modern venue and also look to the future.”
Trafford Housing Trust’s £7m mixed-use development also includes the new Timperley Library on the first floor and four luxury apartments on the second.
A three-storey residential block to the rear contains 25 one- and two-bedroom apartments.
Martin Dawson, Project Manager at Assura, said: “We are delighted to see that the practice is ready to welcome patients to their new medical centre.
“The facility will be a major asset for the provision of primary care in the area for years to come and we are really proud to have been involved with this brilliant project.”
