CAFT Crew (Casual Staff)
From £11.50 per hour at age 21 (£10.06 p/h 20 and under)
Do you have experience working with children, and are looking for work on a casual basis?
Perhaps you have a few hours or days to spare each week and would like to get paid for doing something that is both enjoyable and rewarding in the beautiful Cheshire countryside?
CAFT are looking for Casual workers to join their friendly team! We are looking for flexible, reliable people to support us during our busy times – varied hours and days to suit our needs and yours!
The role:
To help provide a fun, lively, supportive, caring and warm environment to enhance children’s self-esteem and confidence through their experiences at The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust.
Key requirements:
• To be enthusiastic, energetic, friendly and have a positive attitude
• To help carry out fun activities, and encourage all children/young people to feel included
• To work alone and as part of a team meeting and accompanying visiting groups/families
• To be comfortable working with animals
• To be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• To undertake training courses and updates
• To contribute to team meetings to improve our services
The CAFT crew are not carers, they do not undertake any personal care e.g., toileting, feeding, giving medication. These duties are the responsibility of families and carers/staff accompanying groups visiting.
An enhanced DBS check and references will be required for all successful applicants. Due to our location you would need access to your own transport.

CAFT Housekeeper
Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9.15am-2.45pm – £12.50 p/h
Do you have housekeeping or cleaning experience, enjoy keeping house and are looking for work that is both enjoyable and rewarding in the beautiful Cheshire countryside?
CAFT are looking for a housekeeper to join their friendly team! We are looking for a flexible, reliable person to look after our housekeeping and cleaning needs – Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9.15am 2.45pm, 16.5 hours a week, extra hours and days may be available according to operational needs and agreement.
The role:
To help provide a fun, lively, supportive, caring and warm environment to enhance children’s self esteem and confidence through their experiences at The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust.
You would be responsible for making sure our facilities are always in top condition and a clean and presentable order, to make sure the children and families staying with us have the best environment and enjoy our fun and exciting activities.
Key requirements:
• To be enthusiastic, energetic, friendly and have a positive attitude
• To work alone and as part of a team cleaning, doing laundry and taking care of housekeeping
• To be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• To undertake training courses and updates
• To contribute to team meetings to improve our services

CAFT Residential Host
23 hours over 3 days (Monday-Friday) – £12.50 p/h Booth Bank Farm, Reddy Lane, Millington, Cheshire, WA14 3RE
Do you have experience looking after families or children, enjoy keeping house and are looking for work that is both enjoyable and rewarding in the beautiful Cheshire countryside?
CAFT are looking for a residential host to join their friendly team! We are looking for a flexible, reliable person to look after families and groups staying at the farm – 23 hours over 3 consecutive days, with core hours between 9am-7pm Monday-Friday. Days may vary according to operational needs, but rotas are fixed in advance. Extra hours and days may be available according to operational needs and agreement.
The role:
To help provide a fun, lively, supportive, caring, and warm environment to enhance children’s self-esteem and confidence through their experiences at The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust.
You would be responsible for making sure the groups needs are looked after during their stay, keeping our facilities in a clean and presentable order, providing nutritious home-cooked food, and helping with fun and exciting activities.
