The position is for a part-time School Administration and Reception Assistant
The Governors of St Vincent’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic School Administration and Reception Assistant to join our welcoming and effective administrative team. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and personable individual to play a key role in the daily life of our school, providing a professional and friendly service to pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
Salary: Band 3 – pt. 6 - 11 (£25,989-£28,142) pro rata.
Hours: 2 days per week, Thursday & Friday 8.30-4.15pm. Term-time only, plus INSET days (39 weeks per academic year).
Contract: Permanent contract.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent administrative, communication and organisational skills and enjoys working as part of a highly effective team.
- Communicates clearly and professionally and is able to build positive relationships with staff, pupils, parents, governors and visitors.
- Can manage multiple tasks, work accurately under pressure and prioritise effectively.
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and can handle sensitive information in line with GDPR and data protection requirements.
- Has with strong IT skills, with the ability to confidently use a range of digital systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office. Able to manage digital communications efficiently and adapt quickly to new technologies and school-based systems.
- Is committed to supporting the school's vision, mission and values.
- Has experience of working in an administrative, reception or customer-facing role (school experience desirable but not essential).
