Nine years since the closure of the Altrincham Post Office, one of the town’s most iconic buildings will tomorrow reopen as The Old Post Rooms, a new independent business hub and vintage tearoom.
And ahead of the official opening at 10am on Saturday, we’ve been given an exclusive first look of the hugely anticipated Stamford New Road relaunch.
The new tenants include Knutsford-based maternity wear boutique The Pudding Club, luxury sleepwear and lingerie company Silk Drawer, former Emporium tenants Little House Interiors, Plum and Pigeon, Steve Entwistle Photography and The Odd Glass, and ladies boutique Madam Butterfly.
It’s all the brainchild of local retail entrepreneur Catherine Matthews.
At tomorrow’s opening, there’ll be a saxophonist performing and delicious treats in the tearoom.
But here’s a sneak peek of what to expect:
