An Altrincham woman has been found guilty of stealing £1,500 worth of goods from the same supermarket.
Sarah Boardman, of Bailey Walk in Bowdon Vale, appeared at Stockport Magistrates Court alongside Natalie Graham, Catterick Avenue in Sale.
The pair had pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing of stealing the items from Next in Handforth Dean in January and February 2020.
They had first stolen £500 worth of homeware and clothing on January 31 2020 before returning to the store on February 5, where they took similar items worth £600.
Two days later, Boardman, 35, and Graham, 34, stole goods with a value of £400.
Boardman also pleaded guilty to the theft of food worth £150 from M&S in Handforth on December 9 2019.
Taking her guilty pleas into account, magistrates handed Boardman a community order, which includes a night time curfew to remain at her home address between 9pm and 6am for a period of 10 weeks. She must also complete 10 days of rehabilitation with the probation service.
She must also pay £650 compensation to Next and £100 to M&S as well as a surcharge of £95 to victim services and Crown Prosecution costs of £85.
Graham will serve the same 10-week curfew and pay £650 compensation to Next as well a £90 surcharge and £85 in costs.
